"Upgraded to an Ole Wang Garden cabin at the last minute. The "house" was huge with 4 bedrooms. Kitchenette was well equipped although the utensils and pan were well used to the point the non stick pan was somehow scrapped by some sharp metal utensil (i don't know who/why anyone would think to use metal to scrape a non stick pan). Location is slightly off as you got to drive a few km inward on almost a fairly narrow 2 way road near to the end of fjord. Would be great if there were clear skies during the northern lights season but we had cloudy days, rain and day with strong gusts of wind so strong that the whole cabin creaked every time the gust of wind hit the house. Breakfast is standard buffet which supposedly is only included if you stay in a hotel room and not one of the apartments/cabins."

"This is a lovely facility and a wonderful pastoral location. The rooms have good beds and are very clean and the staff is very warm and friendly. The food however does not meet their description.s It is very costly pretends to be gourmet food with little taste. It’s good that the location is wonderful and that the people are friendly. It makes the accommodation get a passing grade."

"We had an absolutely unforgettable stay here! From the moment we arrived, Esther made us feel so welcome with her thoughtful and caring hosting. The house itself is incredible—beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located, 15 min drive from the airport, to enjoy Tromsø and the surrounding islands. The highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the Northern Lights. We were incredibly lucky to witness a long and stunning aurora display right from the house—and honestly, it was even better and longer than what we experienced on a guided aurora tour. Being able to watch it comfortably from the property made the experience even more magical. If you're hoping to see the aurora, this place gives you an amazing chance. Esther’s recommendations were also spot-on and really helped us make the most of our stay. We left feeling grateful for such a special experience and would recommend this place without hesitation. Truly a perfect stay! The only downside I would say is that the hot tub has a fixed price for a day. But also understandable as someone needs to be available for switching on/off. Overall a wonderful experience"

"The apartment has 2 bedrooms with a spacious living and dining room. It has a big screen TV, a big comfortable sofa and a well equipped kitchen. The temperature in the apartment is well regulated but changing the temperature seemed to take some time. There are enough lightings in the apartment but we did have struggles with some of the light switches. The cleanliness was very good. The amenities were working well. We were given a dedicated parking lot to park our rental car, just beside the apartment - a big plus for us. We were hoping to see the Northern Lights from the living room of this apartment. Unfortunately, the sky was always cloudy and it was raining and snowing during our entire stay there. We did venture out to nearby viewing spots but the sky just never clear up! We had a great stay at the apartment and enjoyed the snow-covered sceneries around."
