Wonderful

Really enjoyed my stay with my wife as we had planned to walk around and see the Christmas fair, a few drinks and something nice to eat. 9 Green Lane was a great choice, very well decorated and looked after, pleasant owners and an awesome breakfast which included home made bread and jams!!! Will definitely return and recommend.

First visit to Buxton

Weekend break to concert at Opera House and first visit to this Bed & Breakfast. Good location with car parking. Friendly and comfortable stay with excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again if we visit Buxton in the future.

comfy bed and tasty breakfast

Comfy bed and a very tasty breakfast that was freshly cooked to order. A ten minute walk to the Opera House with a wide range of good pubs and restaurants en route. The floorboards [room above] were a bit creaky and our bathroom fan seemed to take an age before it finally cut out, but we are used to virtual silence at night so, perhaps, are more bothered by these things than other people. I would still recommend this B&B if you are staying in Buxton. The owners are friendly and the room has a good supply of hot drinks available.

Refreshed and restored

I arrived after a long journey from South Wales. I travelled through the rush hour and was so pleased to find the B and B welcoming and easy to find and park.Such a lovely setting and house. Owners were lovely and my breakfast was great freshly cooked to order.I slept really well so the bed must have been comfy! Will visit again soon.

Number 9 scores a perfect 10 !!

Rupert and Caroline were excellent hosts and were a great source of information regarding tourist attractions in the local area. Breakfasts are cooked to order with generous portions being provided. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space available should it be needed. The B&B is situated on a quiet side road and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants available all within a 10 minute walk.

Sehr gutes B&B, in einer guten Wohngegend

Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Gastgeberehepaars war außerordentlich gut. Auch bei der Buchung für einen Golfplatz war der Gastgeber sehr hilfreich. ich wūrde jederzeit wiederkommen. Nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt

We used this B and B because we were going to Buxton Opera House. Very nice stay and a good find will use again.
