"Lovely setting but despite the hotel seeming fairly empty we were allocated a room with a view of the road. We were only there a night. Very comfy bed. Plenty of parking. Parking signs outside don’t state that hotel guests don’t have to pay. Hotel seemed a bit short of service at breakfast. "

"The hotel is like a tardis. When you first see it from the front it looks like a nice decent sized pub. Then the accommodation area extends quite some way off the back, which was a surprise. Once you walk away from the bar into the accommodation area, that's where the issues start. An out of use male toilet, a horrible smell of damp, bare plasterwork (I'm assuming they have had a water issue). My room was on the first floor and away from the smell, so that was ok. "Very nice hotel, room 16 large and comfortable bed, excellent cleanliness. A short walk into Arundel and important for us to have the car park. Breakfast very enjoyable with a good range of food. Only criticism was the shower was a weak flow and impossible to dry wash my hair. Overall, we would visit again. "
