"This was a family run hotel directly on the beach. The area was great and easily walkable and the staff very helpful and friendly.
However, the rooms were dated and there are an abundance of roosters directly across from the rooms who start crowing between 3 and 4 am. If you like sleep I suggest you bring noise cancelling headphones or book another hotel. "
"The premises are beautiful and very well maintained. There are multiple pools and a kiddie playroom, which was especially convenient for me traveling with my young son.
The journey from the airport to the hotel, however, was extremely challenging for me personally. The road leading to the resort is quite curvy and turbulent, and I experienced severe nausea and vomiting for several hours after arrival. It may be helpful for the hotel to inform guests in advance so those prone to motion sickness can prepare accordingly. I was grateful that the in-house nurse kindly provided medication free of charge.
During our stay, I noticed that service operations appeared somewhat strained. Our room was not always cleaned unless we followed up with reception, and restaurant service was slow, with wait times often exceeding one hour per meal. The staff were polite and professional, but seemed overwhelmed by the volume of guests. This is important to consider, particularly when traveling with a hungry toddler. Additionally, there is no nearby convenience store, so guests are largely reliant on the hotel’s food service.
On a very positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent, generous, varied, and of high quality.
Overall, the property itself is lovely, but service capacity and access logistics are factors future guests may wish to consider."
"It was so bad we didn’t stay. There was no reception, we had to hunt down someone who would show us a room. No WiFi, no hot water for the shower, and the shower was over the toilet- no separate area. We requested a refund and they refused. "
"Great location close to the underground river. View of the ocean and beach was nice. Breakfast and staff were first class. Transportation and driver met all of our needs and then some."
"Clean room, friendly staff who are making my stay just what i wanted. Great food, service, extremely quiet, i can hear only the ocean twenty feet from my bed.they gota rented scooter delivered for me.if thats not enough for you, go back to L.A."
"If you are looking for a more secluded stay this is the place. It is about an hour from the city but the drive is worth it. The view was gorgeous and very serene. The pool was very clean and well maintained daily. The only have 5 cabins to stay in so you don't have to worry about it being super crowded. All of the staff were absolutely wonderful. The were extremely helpful and also had the option to book tours for you there onsite. It is an Eco Log so they prioritize being environmental conscious. If you are looking for a hotel room with A/C this is NOT the place as the rooms were closer to a camping vibe but there was a fan supplied in the room that kept it comfortable in January. Definitely recommend."
"When we arrived, the lady and her husband said there were no rooms available, offered us alcohol and asked if she could bring us to another pension house. We decided to check it out. She took us a block away, opened a large metal garage door, and asked if we wanted to stay there. It was sketchy and felt unsafe. We left and went to the Four Points instead. We’ll be pursuing a refund. Honestly this person should be banned from Expedia."
