The beach at this location was unusable; there was no dedicated swimming area, and a black flag was up due to dangerous conditions and jellyfish. Meanwhile, other resorts just 20 minutes away had safe, accessible swimming...

"This is a top tier resort. All 4 of the premium restaurants had several outstanding options, and food presentation was very high. The drinks were also exceptional, in presentation, preparation, and selection. Top shelf name brand choices of almost every bottle you can imagine. The beds were comfy, the pools were clean, the crowds were well managed, and the grounds are spotless. Negatives? Not many really, but the tipping is odd. Even if you are all-inclusive, you need to 'charge out' for...

"The pools were great and clean. The property is difficult to maneuver as there are multiple levels and the pools are on the very bottom or top. Food choices are limited as there are three restaurants at the property and you cannot walk to anything else Ubers and taxis work fine. There is NO beach access to water. You can sit on the beach but the water is off limits and very dangerous. The property is beautiful, but I wanted a beach property and this isn’t it."

"We spent Spring Break Easter week with our 2 daughters at Villa La Valencia. We did all inclusive and felt everything was perfect. The place is pristine the food was great the staff all knew my name by the end of the week. There was plenty of friends for our daughters to make by the family pool. We paid extra for a few activities at the kids club. All the staff from the kids club said hi to my daughter after while we were around the property and she loved the time spent.
