"The location was perfect, with only a 4-minute walk to the metro station and a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. This made it very convenient to get around without spending a ton of money on Uber or taxis. There were also small shops nearby where we could easily grab snacks and other essentials. "A very family friendly hotel with lots of grounds with trees and outdoor seating areas . The room was very spacious and well maintained. Very clean with a wardrobe with electronic safe for your valuables. There was a dresser with large mirror and small fridge stocked with variety of drinks. There was also a kettle and small selection of teas. Our room had ensuite bathroom with a shower enclosure. There is a large outdoor swimming pool, well maintained but we don't swim so only had a nosy. There is also a small, but beautiful chapel and rooftop terrace but there were no activities there during our stay. The restaurant was outstanding with great menu. For me the biggest asset of the hotel was its staff. Amazing people. Very polite, very friendly and ever so helpful. From the reception team to the very hard working restaurant staff. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you so much for making our holiday one to remember for years to come. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Rome. Sam K and Anne"

"Excellent service and a very clean, comfortable room; value for money was average for a hotel of this category. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Our Family Studio was a good size for a family, very clean and comfortable, with a crib provided in good condition. The A/C worked well, noise was low (some outside noise, nothing serious), and there is an elevator to the upper floors. A few things to be aware of: the room showed some signs of wear and felt a bit dated. Ours was on the first floor and quite dark — the only window was at the far inner end of the room, so it received little natural light. The breakfast buffet was decent for the price but not very extensive, so we had breakfast elsewhere the next day. The rooftop restaurant was good for dinner. The complimentary bottle of prosecco included with our Expedia booking wasn't provided at first, but the hotel corrected it after we flagged it. The room upgrade offered with the booking (subject to availability) was not available. The hotel is in the Piazza Ippolito Nievo area of Trastevere, about a 20-minute walk from the main sights and restaurants around Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, and the immediate surroundings are not particularly scenic. There is a tram stop very close by, though we didn't use it. For a hotel listed as 4-star, we found the value for money average. Best suited for travelers who prioritize service, cleanliness and space over ambiance and a central location."
