"Excellent resort just south of Puerto Viejo. Staff is friendly, food is great as was the bar service. Pool and rooms are clean, property is tropical and well kept. There are plenty of restaurants outside the property to try. If you need an ATM or grocery store run, we suggest an Uber. They seem to be the cheapest. We will definitely be back again, wonderful experience!"

"Nos pareció muy conveniente la ubicación, frente a la playa con amenidades para estar en ella. Parqueo seguro. Desayuno bufet un poco básico pero nos gustó y fue suficiente para emprender un día de aventuras. El área de piscina muy linda. Lo único que recomendamos mejorar es la habitación, se nota que son antiguas y fueron remodeladas pero hay detalles descuidados. Aún así, las camas estaban cómodas y pudimos pasarla bien."

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!"

"A great hotel, nearby convenience store is very handy, the restaurant onsite serves really good food, being a solo traveler it was great that I didn’t need to leave the property. Beach is lovely and hotel has sunbeds and towels. Bike hire is $9 for the day, great to get around. Room was cleaned daily, my only disappointment was the curtains don’t cover the window…. I was in Tropical 10, I recommend ear plugs for the slight outside noise for this particular room but was fine once they were in. All round I had a great experience and would book again."
