"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux."

Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. "Great location if you want to be close to the train. A bit of a yucky walk with not much else around. Was excited for a roof top bar/restaurant, they only serve 3 course meals, no options for bar snacks or lighter meals which was disappointing. Rooms are beautiful, just very noisy! Especially my third night when I had to change rooms as it was an additional booking, was under the kitchen and they banged around until after 11 and were back at 530, so impossible to sleep. Absolutely do not use...

"Beautiful hotel very centrally located in Bordeaux. Rooms were lovely with coffee, tea, beverages in room. Breakfast was nicely presented with a lot to choose from. Staff was very helpful with directions and arrangements. If returning to Bordeaux, I would choose to stay at this hotel again."

"The hotel staff were excellent and nothing was a bother. Happy to switch from French to English depending on the guest language skills. Great secure parking. The light rail passes the hotel front door so leave your car and explore Bordeaux by light rail."

"We arrived late, however for the entire time we didn’t receive the parking QR code. Turned out to be the staff wrote down my email wrong (mess up with my last name). Do we had to pay 75 Euros extra for the parking plus 40 minutes extra to find the parking garage. After 8 hours driving and mid night, it was a bummer. Then the room sheets were smelling from something. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom door handle was falling off and during our entire stay, no one seemed to care about it....
