Staff was friendly and ready to help with any needs. Everyone is welcoming. Hotel is perfectly located near esplanade, kuranda scenic railways and ocean fleet terminal. Highly recommend.

The front desk girls are not very nice at all. They need to learn customer service. The Indian girl was rude n not helpful. The shower has no hot water. I have to turn it on 5 minutes and somewhat there’s warm water then back to cold water. The location is great otherwise , worst front desk people.

Great location. Walking distance from the Kuranda Scenic railway station and the boat rides to the Great barrier reef. Also walking distance from the Cairns city center. Lots of great dining options close by. The hotel offered a hot breakfast for a very low price for guests. Great views of the ocean from the hotel room balcony. Had a great experience.

The hairdryer was terrible, had an adjoining room so noise from neighbours was terrible. Had to cancel room service as it never arrived. My bags were ‘stored’ in the foyer behind a black and yellow tape when I was for my check in. Staff were nice, but not worth the $230 a night.

The convenience of being very close to the centre of the city whilst still enjoying inlet/ marina views was great. Bushfire restaurant below the accommodation was a bonus. The building is older but has been renovated, although an exhaust fan in the bathroom was not present and really is needed! The position is the real winner, close to everything! - the shops ,the pier, the marina, Cairns Central, the station, restaurants, the lagoon, and on the esplanade!
