"First family week away with our 4-month-old! We’d definitely recommend the Royal Leonardo for a first holiday with a young family, it made travelling with a baby really easy and was a very pleasant stay.
The room was clean, spacious and well equipped, with a useful kitchenette, comfortable beds, good shower, balcony and separate sitting/dining area. Rooms were cleaned daily, even when we had a late start, which was a great touch. The pool area was clean and the pool bar staff were good.
The location is great. With a 4-month-old, we were a little limited in how far we could travel, so being just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby, was ideal. Being able to walk straight from the pool area into the sea was also a bonus.
Breakfast and lunch had an every good choice, while evening meals offered plenty of variety, although the food was generally ok-good rather than outstanding. The dining area can get quite busy, bright and noisy, (very canteen like) but that can also be expected with an all-inclusive.
The kayaking and paddleboarding were good additions, and Marta from Guest Relations was fantastic. She helped me make special arrangements for our 9th anniversary which made it a bit extra special.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great facilities, friendly staff and an excellent location. We’d happily return."
