"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotels beach was not really kid friendly, or even adult friendly. (at least not for me) There was no space to put our towels and beach accessories. We walked about 5 extra minutes to get to the other side of the beach, which was in front of another hotel and it was a little nicer there. There was a beach about 5 min away (by car), from the hotel (Playa Carillo), and it was BEAUTIFUL! Brian, the manager was so kind to give us a ride in his personal car because my daughters foot was injured and we couldn't walk there. There were some foods that we ordered that were subpar, but there were some foods that were absolutely delicious (the fish, burger, ceviche). I really enjoyed the fish !! The drinks (virgin, and alcoholic) were so refreshing and yummy. I loved every single one that they would make for me. The breakfast was okay. The French toast was yummy and the fruits were fresh and juicy. The staff was super accommodating and everything was pretty clean. If you ask me, id recommend that they get a gold cart or similar, to get to a from the beach on site. (but maybe I'm just lazy). Their shuttle service was punctual, and clean. The excursions are pretty close (about 5 to 10 min away), and they were amazing ! All in all , it was an awesome trip/stay. I would definitely go back."

"Do not sleep on Bohemia experience! Guillermo (concierge/reception) was a wealth of knowledge and was so quick to respond to any question or recommendation we asked for. The owner, Shaq, was incredibly kind and provided everything we needed. Your day starts with a perfect Costa Rican breakfast overlooking the ocean and the rest of the day is your oyster. My husband and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and will be back!"

"Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything."

"We had a wonderful time in Viilla #8. The staff were friendly, the property was well kept, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook in the villa. The beach and stores were in walking distance (great location!). We loved our outdoor space, where we ate, read on the hammock or hung out in the sitting area. Thank you! El personal fue amable, la propiedad estaba bien cuidada, las habitaciones estaban limpias y tenían todo lo que necesitábamos para poder cocinar en la villa. La playa y las tiendas estaban a poca distancia a pie (¡ubicación excelente!). Nos encantó nuestro espacio al aire libre, donde comíamos, leíamos en la hamaca o pasábamos el tiempo en el área de descanso. ¡Gracias!"
