On the serious side. This is a photograph of downtown Calgary that I took during my visit in June 2016. I found Calgary to be such a beautiful city.
A public space dedicated to the memory of Canada’s veterans and first responders. Weathered steel walls bear quotes and inscriptions of tribute, over-sized word sculptures inspire contemplation, and modern aluminum benches are positioned to offer views of the river and across to downtown.
