"Beautiful amenities. Hotel has great views. Only downside was when we used the shower for the first time, one of the knobs falling off. But the hotel repaired the issue quickly."

"This is a really lovely clean/modern hotel which is in a perfect location particularly if you enjoy a walk. Funchal is about a leisurely 35/40 mins walk away. Some very nice restaurants, cafes and shops nearby including the Forum Madeira. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would definitely return."

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms are super nice and modern and very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfast was good. The pool area was an added bonus. It was just a shame the bar was not open for drinks. They did have a phone service but it took time to receive drinks. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The area is very relaxing. The walk to the marina is a pleasant stroll and there is a row of good restaurants along the way. The infinity pool was a refreshing treat. The breakfast at the hotel was very nice. I would stay here again."

"Reid’s is a beautiful property with multiple pools and diving access to the ocean. Our stay involved changing rooms ( not the hotels fault), and not all rooms are the same. The first room had a walk in shower but the second room had a very slippery tub shower. There was construction going on during our stay that made for noisy afternoons. The food was really good and there are multiple restaurants, however, I would reserve a table in advance of your stay to guarantee your spot at dinner. The service was exceptional."
