"Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. "We usually stay here when in Cambridge. I think this was our first visit under new ownership. The place was great as usual. The staff were friendly but clearly stretched too thinly. We waited in the bar for service and eventually went elsewhere. The wait for breakfast to arrive was around 40 mins. It proved difficult even getting clean cutlery. When asked about our stay at checkout, we mentioned the slow service but got no response or enquiry suggesting it was a well recognised problem."

"Such a lovely hotel with lots of history, 8 minute walk to the town. Beautiful decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff from the reception staff to the bar staff. They upgraded our room for free due to a celebration booking and could not have been more lovely. Thank you!"

"Het personeel aan de receptie tijdens de avondshift was helaas erg onvriendelijk bij het inchecken. Er kon nauwelijks een goedendag af en we kregen geen uitleg over het feit dat onze twee kamers op dezelfde verdieping zouden liggen. Toen we naar de kamers gingen, bleek één van de kamers nog niet klaar te zijn. We spraken iemand van het schoonmaakteam aan. "Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Herzen von Cambridge und in der Nähe vieler Restaurants und Bars. Hervorzuheben ist dabei die historische Bedeutung und die Architektur des Gebäudes (altes Polizeirevier). Die Zimmer waren sehr modern und funktional eingerichtet. Auch das Design des Hotels inklusive der Speisesaal sind wirklich gelungen. Jedoch sehr klein- gerade für zwei große Gepäckstücke. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."
