"Overall great value for your money. The things I liked: the room, very comfortable bed, dining room and couch. Very good lighting. Great a/c. The location was on the second floor, and we had a view of trees/pool/bit of ocean. The grounds are beautiful, we never had a problem getting a lounge chair, the pools are very nice especially the adults only pool (it felt like an entirely different resort). If I came back, I would splurge for altitude. The staff is friendly especially the waiters at the adults only pool (drinks were good here). Things I did not like: the food is not good at all. I can literally count on one hand the items I liked (all fruit, donuts/cheese danish, guac and chips from snack bar and tiramisu from Italian restaurant). There were items that had potential but fell flat (cold vegetable tempura from Asian restaurant and cold grilled sandwich from the grill). My partner enjoyed the food at the grill. Overall the view at the grill restaurant was amazing and the Asian restaurant had the best food but was very loud. There are kids everywhere running around, I would definitely recommend spending time by the restaurant area and adults only pool if you do not have kids with you. The bathroom is very small and the toilet struggles to flush (great hot water in shower). No chairs on balcony. You can hear traffic noise at times as this resort is on a busy road with current construction. Overall this was a great value for the money if you know what you are getting. "

"Food was average at best. Most of the food was overcooked and sat in steam tables too long. Entertainment was also lacking on the main stage. The Michael Jackson show was great. Pools were not clean most mornings. cups were still floating in them from the night before."

"Apparently the resort decided to remodel above our room in the middle do the night. Horrible banging and drilling until well after 2am and we had to catch an early flight the next day. We called to the front desk about 6 times and nothing was done in fact the noise became louder. The mattresses are extremely hard like sleeping in the floor. In fact the floor might be more comfortable. The faucet in the bathroom leaked all over the vanity onto the floor anytime you ran water. Worst resort stay we’ve ever had. Will not Return nor recommend."

"Will 100% be back. This pool was one of the best we’ve ever been to. The staff was so attentive and friendly! The decor is so beautiful- only downside is the food at the restaurant was silly expensive (like $150 for 2 people for breakfast!) so I’d say there’s a good coffee shop across the street! But the amenities are amazing! Clean and big villa rooms (stayed in a 1BR villa room)."

"Hotel Experience Pros: - Beautiful ocean views - Staff and service were friendly and helpful - Convenient location - Felt safe and secure throughout the stay - Rooms looked modern and visually appealing Cons: - Major mosquito issue inside the room. My fiancée ended up with multiple bite marks on her arms despite us never opening the balcony door. It became difficult to sleep comfortably. - Not enough wall outlets for electronics and medical devices such as a CPAP machine. - Bed sheets appeared to be repositioned rather than fully changed during housekeeping. - Food quality was disappointing overall. Much of it tasted reheated or lacked flavour. The breakfast buffet also raised hygiene concerns because birds/wildlife were eating from the serving areas. The hibachi restaurant was the only place where the food felt fresh and enjoyable. - Drinks also appeared heavily watered down, including Coca-Cola and Fanta ordered at the resort. - Concierge was unable to assist with arranging flowers/cake for my fiancée’s birthday despite multiple attempts. - Due to the mosquito/bug problem, sleep quality during the stay was poor. Overall: The property has beautiful views and good staff, but the mosquito issue, food quality, drink quality, and overall comfort made the experience disappointing for us. Unfortunately, we would not return."
