"We had to switch rooms due to the amount of dust on the furniture and carpet fluff on the floor, and the paint smell in the room. They moved us to an equally poor room which also had filthy windows and questionable bathroom cleanliness. Reception did not answer the phone and did not respond to the message we left. We had to go down to the desk after waiting 40 mins for someone to come back to us. Would never stay there again."

"This is no “hotel” but a motel/motor inn. Nice enough and ok given the price per night. Next time I’ll pay a bit more to get better quality."

"Fabulous location. Beautiful view from the rooftop. 1 block away from canberra Square, the theatre and loads of great restaurants. The large, clean heated pool and the sauna were impressive. Staff are insite 24hours which is handy. Unfortunately, the apartment building is under significant structural repairs which isn’t ideal when paying a decent amount to stay there. There are hatches missing from the ceilings all the way through the hallways. Balcony doors in rooms are locked shut (cannot be opened) due to safety concerns. The shower drain did become blocked and flooded the bathroom floor. Other than that, the apartment itself was mostly good. It is old and could do with a freshen up, but it was delightfully clean and the beds were comfortable. Wind out windows and new ducted heating/air conditioning are welcome features. "

"This was possibly the best hotel we have stayed in and the cost was very reasonable. The facilities in our apartment were exceptional. decent kitchen facilities meant we could self cater very easily - it included a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. The separate bedroom and bathroom was a real bonus and meant the whole areas was spacious. Alot better (and cheaper) than many Air BNB's we have stayed in. The views of the mountains were glorious as we were on the 6th floor. A truly beautiful location. Really friendly staff - helpful and thoughtful. We would recommend without hesitation and stay again if we were ever in Canberra again. The hotel is about a 20min walk to the shopping area which was fine for us as we love walking. 15 minute taxi drive from the airport. The only downside was that the space was so lovely and relaxing that we had to force ourselves outside to do the tourist venues such as the wonderful National Gallery of Australia. "
