"This is definitely a budget hotel. For what we paid, we received excellent value and service. The rooms were clean (though minimal) - cleaned daily with fresh towels, the staff all very helpful, the breakfast more than adequate, and even though the walk to the downtown core a bit further, (25 min to ponte Vecchio) - it was certainly manageable. Easy to airport.by tram, and bus stops for other travel. "

"Upon arriving, our room was upgraded to a Prince Suite for our Honeymoon, the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. The A La Carte cuisine was amazing and they provided transportation to the edge of the city upon request, AND picked you up again. And as for the beautiful gardens! "L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. "
