Fantastic location, walking distance to the CBD and easy access to the airport. Great coffee and bakery across the road also. Would recommend staying at the Merivale Manor if you are going to Christchurch."

The attention to detail started the moment we stepped in with welcome drinks (non-alcoholic option available) and handmade chocolates in the shape of rocks. The view outside our room was out of this world. The dinner (included in our room rate) was world class - inventive and high quality ingredients. The breakfast the next morning had several options to choose from. One of our most special stays!"
