Everything was beautiful and so clean, the staff was so friendly & gave tons of great suggestions of stuff to do / places to go in area. The location is great such a short walk to the beach and walking distance to so many things in town. Highly recommend staying here.

Ver nice staff. Everything in the room was fine. Breakfast was very good and innovative. Staff was knowledgeable about events and places around town. Nice area to read by the chimney could use a dedicated reading light. climate control in the Columbia room was individual for bathroom which is a very good idea. One is able to keep the room itself a little cooler than the bathroom!

Eric and Rochelle (and Tanya, of course) have created one of the most inviting and comfortable B&B experiences we’ve ever had. The house itself is beautiful, of course, and tastefully decorated for Christmas. But the big story here is the pleasant personalities we encountered and the warm atmosphere they create for their guests. While this was our first visit to Mason Cottage, Eric made us feel like old friends. Our room was beautifully appointed, breakfasts were tasty, local advice was on point, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of B&Bs. It will NOT be our last visit here! Thanks Eric, Ro and Tanya.

The house was clean, updated & the decorations were incredible reflecting the holiday season. The suite was spacious, clean the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Very creative with the banana split pre breakfast dish. Half a banana with yogurt, almonds with chocolate drizzle. The main course was French toast pieces, whipped cream with raspberries. Staff member, Tonya was very informative, polite, friendly & great to talk to. We has a great stay & plan on coming back in May 2026

We had a perfect first time in Cape May and experiencing our first true Bed and Breakfast! Ro and Eric were the kindest hosts! You can tell they love what they do! They called before our arrival to let us know we can come in early. Upon arrival, Eric gave great suggestions on where to go in the area (everywhere we wanted to go was a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage), and even helped us bring our bags upstairs. Everything in the cottage was well-thought out—from the immaculately clean and gorgeously decorated suite, beach chairs/bikes being provided, 24/7 coffee and tea, and delicious homemade breakfasts! After a long day at the beach and exploring downtown, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the fresh air. It felt like we were in a fairytale book being surrounded by all the beautiful cottages! Eric, Ro, and staff—thank you for making this trip spectacular. We can’t wait to go back!
