Average stay.

We arrived later than there check in time and were met and made very welcome. All 3 staff where very helpful with local knowledge and weather affects on your day, [both Robben Island and the cable car are affected by the wind] which they informed their guests on daily and was very useful. They currently have water issues due to the water shortage and they are managing these well. But we felt that house number 14 was very tired in its furniture and lack of storage space and we were surprised re its high rating of 9+ as we didn't feel it rated that compared to our other accommodations on our trip.. Although it was clean and the bed was comfy.

Beautiful B&B, nice hosts

The house is in a good neighborhood. It is quiet but not far from supermarket and restaurants. Nearby is the new very beautiful park, directly behind you can already reach the promenade on the ocean. In less than 20 minutes you can walk to the beautiful harbor with brewing house, shoping mall, arts and crafts, gourmet market and much more. They helped me with the transfer and booking of tours.

Great stay in Cape Town

To me the local area was great, but for some people it might be a little way from the action. That is why I liked it. Yet I was able to walk to most areas in 20-40 minutes!

Nice place in a quiet part of Cape Town. Large, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Helpful owners. Restaurants within ten minutes walk. Short uber to v&a.

Lovely stay at Braeside

This is a lovely B&B, with great hospitality and location - walking distance to the V&A waterfront. Michael is a perfect host - very friendly and helpful, and he serves a great breakfast. The only reason we didn't give it a perfect score for comfort is because the bed didn't quite fit my extremely tall husband, but that's no fault of the inn.

Best B&B in Cape Town

Where to begin? On check in, was welcomed by the owner of this 100+ year old Victorian, who even assisted me with my bags (which were a bit on the heavy side). The art on the walls are originals, mostly by Michael, the owner, and are beautiful. The rooms and home are spotless, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and even the kitty made me feel at home. Breakfast was far more than a simple Continental, and included a hot dish as well as cheeses, meats, toast, fresh sliced fruit with yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, and cold cereal as a buffet. The price for my Garden room was very reasonable, and the owners will even arrange airport transportation and tours with local companies.

Classic B&B, very pleasant, perfect location

B&B is a collection of 3 renovated old manor homes from early 1900's, in a beautiful neighborhood. Rooms are large, dining from the outdoor terrace with views of the ocean. Breakfast is amazing, fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, fritatas, etc. Staff is exceptionally helpful, go out of their way to help you find you way around, tours, dinner, etc. Located few hundred meters from restaurants in Green Point & harbor, about 15 minute walk to the beach.

Wonderful B&B on Green Point, Cape Town

Don't be fooled by the term 'B&B', this wonderful establishment is more along the lines of a small boutique hotel. Placed in a wonderful position on Green Point, there are many restaurants (and a great deli, Giovanni's) to suit all tastes and pockets within a 5/10 minute walk from Braeside. The V&A and all those attractions are a 15/20 minute walk away. Green Point Park is also a 5 minute walk away. Enough of where it is.... The B&B consists of 2 separate houses (and a self catering house too). If you want a modern box like hotel, stop reading now. If you want old colonial style houses with huge rooms, high ceilings, lovely old furniture and massive bathrooms, then this is the place for you. If you are lucky enough to stay in number 14, you have the full run and use of the kitchen, dining room and massive lounge too (with sherry). It's like having the whole house to yourself. Catherine, Michael and Craig are fabulous hosts, nothing is too much trouble, informative and helpful and thoughtful small touches (sorry for emptying the cookie jar every day!). I have no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone. Thanks for the great stay!!

Angenehmes und schönes B&B

A surprising good find.

This was a terrific find. The owners are really nice and most helpful with information, directions, acquiring a taxi. Breakfast is great! The location is convenient for all points of interest. We walked to the V & A waterfront easily as well as to the central city greenmarket. I would definitely stay here again.
