Decent economy accommodation with friendly staff. Unfortunately we had a problem with noise, regardless of all the 'quiet please' notices.

What you get is not what is advertised. It was damp and you could smell the toilets in the rooms I walked out of the establishment and booked myself into the Holiday Inn Express for the night.

We loved the location and staff very nice. My complaint would be that the 10 pm quiet time is not ENFORCED. ON WEEKENDS it is very loud into the wee hours of the morning.

Great find in great spot!

Would definitely stay again in Cape Town. Best part is friendly staff at desk who were always more than happy to help us with any questions and concerns we had. They helped us book tours and we shared some great conversations together as well.

Nice place

Very well situated in Cape Town. Near all restaurants and bars. The staff is welcoming. We had booked in a dormitory but they gave us a room with nobody else. Highly recomend this backpacker to whoever wants to travel at low cost. Sure we Will stay at this place again if we come back to CT.

Best location and friendly hostel!

We arrived on a Saturday and stayed a whole week. We had our own room (for three) and a bathroom included. The room was small and our bathroom was missing a towel rack, but overall we had a great time at this hostel! Our favorite staff member was Donniel, she was so friendly and caring and made sure that we had the best time. We ate delicious breakfast, the wifi was OK, not always the best, and the atmosphere of the hostel was lovely. We loved the location because we could get a delicious bite to eat just around the corner. We would recommend taking an uber instead of a taxi- much cheaper! The tours we booked through the hostel were wonderful and it was generally very quiet for having so many people staying there. Will stay there again when I return!

Nice staff and clean

Nice hostel with good common areas, and bar Amazing helpful and friendly staff. In a good location in the middle of Cape Town. Things I didn't like about the hostel were: not many plug ins in the room, only place in south Africa with a surcharge to use mastercard or visa, not many showers, or bathrooms. Ad says parking available, but street parking isn't safe and underground parking is expensive. Finally the music from the bar really resonates in the dorm room, which is directly under it.

This is where you want to be!

I've been traveling for three months straight and kind of got tired of writing these reviews, but I thought I'd go out of my way to review this place because my experience was great. The place has a cool layout and the bar reminded me of a comfortable neighborhood bar. Great people both staying here and working here. Very helpful staff that really made my short stay very enjoyable. Next time I'm in Cape Town, this is where I'm staying!
