Very quiet for its central location - safe walking distance at night to a good selection of restaurants and bars. Modern well equipped rooms. Helpful reception and out of ours support by WhatsApp. Note no breakfast or pool

Great location just off Kloof Street. Lots of good bars, restautants & shops within 2 minutes walk. Felt like a very safe area, even at night. Staff were very helpful with local advice, organising excursions etc. Hotel was very modern and clean, we had no issues of any kind here.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Kaapstad

Beautiful boutiqe hotel in the center of Kaapstad, very nice rooms, well decorated. Beds are comfortable and shower is great.

Small gem waiting to be discovered

We stayed one night as a couple. We had just finished a group tour and the hotel we were in was old and tired, so we decided to move. The Parkhouse was a great discovery! We needed something in Gardens we could wheel our luggage to, but the Parkhouse ended up being more than just a convenience. It is tucked around on a very quite side street. The concierge Storm was very welcoming and helpful. She was able to recommend places to eat, found us a driver for a day tour, and assisted when I encountered mobile internet issues The rooms have been decorated with care - they are very clean and modern and reflect the online photos. Fortunately they have modified the minimalism esthetic by adding frosted glass to the shower, which is sits within the bedroom area. The bed was very comfortable; the blackout shade assured we were able to sleep soundly. We even had our own wooden walk-out patio, which gave great views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill. There is a courtesy table in the hallway with coffee, rusks and infused water, as well as an iPad for guest internet use. The neighborhood is great for dining and shopping, and is a fairly short walk to main tourist sites like the Company Gardens; we felt generally safe walking home from dinner. My only comment would be that there is no lift, and even the lower rooms are reached by a few steps, so a little caution for those with mobility issues. Great value - Highly recommended!

Great value, design and location

The hotel was great, it's only 13 months old and in a very clean condition. The design of the rooms is cool, nice king size beds. The hotel wasn't expensive, and highly recommend for value for money, quiet and safe location (street parking out the front) and also in terms of proximity to Kloof St for restaurants and bars

Zentral gelegenes kleines Hotel

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame an der Rezeption, die von ca 9 Uhr bis 15 Uhr besetzt war. Sehr schöner Balkon mit Blick auf den Tafelberg.

Klein und fein, aber laut.

Kleines Häuschen in Seitenstraße, etwas schwierig zu finden. Alles sauber und modern, leider aber sehr laut da die Zimmer alle um ein Quadrat herum sind in dem der Aufenthalt für alle und auch ein mini Frühstück stattfinden. Wir hatten zusätzlich einen morgen die gesamte Nachbarschaft zu Besuch die ihr Glas Leergut vor unserem Balkon abgaben. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, dies würde nur 1x im Monat passieren- leider hat es uns den Schlaf geraubt, daher zurückhaltend positiv bewertet.

Charming guest house in a great location.

Lovely little guest house with lots of attention to detail. Great location tucked away from all the business of long street however just a 5 minute walk to it. Storm, the lady at the front desk is super friendly and helpful.

Great location in the Gardens of Cape Town, within moments walking from a lively area, yet quiet for rest and relaxation. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, both prior to our arrival and during our stay.

Schönes kleines Hotel mit super Lage

Das Hotel liegt super zentral in der Nähe der Kloof Street - in der direkten Nachbarschaft ist das Kloof Street House (tolles Restaurant), viele Bars und Restaurants und ein Supermarkt. Auch die belebte Bree-Street mit Ihren Bars und Restaurants ist in der Näher. Da das Hotel in einer kleine Sackgasse liegt, ist es trotzdem ruhig. Die Rezeption ist nur tagsüber besetzt, aber sehr hilfsbereit.
