Staff was great and super nice, the inn itself was very clean and well managed for the most part, just the area and other issues that weren’t the property managements fault. We had some other guests going around banging on doors including ours and being loud til past 2am and I personally barely got any sleep but again not the inns fault just childish people. My only complaint was on Expedia it said the room was 99$ and was 102-107 after taxes and all that but the room we were in had the listed prices and it was supposed to be 75$ again not the inns fault I think that was on the travel app I used.

Eclipse travel

Staying in town for the eclipse with a friend. The hotel met our needs. It definitely needs a face-lift but the staff were very attentive and cared about our stay. The bar area was nice. They had food and a great selection of drinks. This hotel has a lot of potential and I hope they meet it. Thanks.

The check in clerk and the bar manager were both very nice. Even they acknowledged that the hotel is "under construction." Such upgrades are needed.

Friendly if still a little rough around the edges

It's clear to me the staff is trying to improve this place. I appreciated the hospitality - especially in the attached bar which is a nice bonus to the property. Given that and a fair price I can ignore some of the areas that still need a little work, such as unsightly debris piles. The little bird in the welcome area brightened my morning, too.

Property was easily accessible with plenty of parking.Did not try bar,heated pool or exercise area.These areas were clean and well kept.Loved the Roku TV.Put my info it was like having my home tv with me.Nobody was standing around seemed to have a small but efficient staff who care about the guest.

We were staying at a 4-star hotel in TN, not only was it expensive, the cleaning crews told us they were too tired to clean all of the hotel daily as they were supposed to, so our room never got serviced until we called, and the staff were distant and not readily accessible nor friendly. Traveling home, we stayed at America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Pinckneyville, IL. Completely different experience. Staff were accessible, from Kimmy to Mit. The hotel was safe, the pool was heated, there were pool toys provided, a game room, breakfast, and best of all clean. well worth the extra miles off the main road. highly recommend this hotel.

Stay was ok. It was close to where I need to go and had a pool. They had the windows open in the pool area and bugs and wasp was flying in but other then that the pool area was nice. The breakfast was the only bad thing about the stay. Stale cereal, bread was moldy, no fruit or yogurts so only thing we had was waffle. It was quite by my room but at the other end of the hall near my mom she said their was some drinks out half the night being loud in the hallway. But the hotel served the main purpose of what I needed it for.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was long hair on the drain and on the shower walls, cigarette burn on the couch, dust in the corners and dust covered scrunchie on the floor behind the nightstand. There was a single outlet (not a double outlet) reachable from the beds. The sheets were thin and the towels were tiny. The bath towels were a few inches bigger than hand towels. The employee working was doing her absolute best and was incredibly polite—she was staffing the front desk and cleaning rooms.

Friendly staff at the front desk. Booked a different room with 2 larger beds and they did not have it available. Come to find out later it was given to a couple prior to us coming because they didn’t have the room they booked available either. There was trash around the pool. Cleanliness for breakfast was poor, I had to clean off the table before we sat down. Also, individual packages of cream cheese were left out at room temperature and still there at 11 when we checked out. Doing the best they can but professionalism was lacking.

You get what you pay for

Our room did not have a coffeemaker, I like coffee 1st thing after waking up. The shower/tub combo: shower worked when I wanted to take a relaxing bath, but then in the morning couldn't get it back to shower! The breakfast area was slim ( it had the basics) but ran out of coffee cups and no one around to restock. No one at front desk to ask. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during check in though.

Adequate but not great.

It is in a decent location and it was a fair price, so that is why I stayed there. But when I got there in the late afternoon my room had not been cleaned yet, so they had to search around for another room. I had asked for an upstairs room, but they couldn’t accommodate me with that. The staff were nice people though. The room was adequate but not great. It was mostly clean at least. The free breakfast in the morning was absolute Crap and no one had even turned the lights on in the dining room or put the chairs down off of the tables. I bet that they are probably not adequately staffed with workers.

We rented a double king room, the bathroom was not clean, and the air was not turned on until we checked in. The woman working the counter was very nice and explained their cleaning lady had called in sick and they were struggling to keep up. She put us in a different room and walked through it to make sure it was satisfactory. Unfortunately, they did not have another double king, which was fine but I had to ask for money back when I checked out, it was not offered. The man who checked us out gave us $30 back on a two night stay. Our second room was clean and so was the bathroom. This stay was average, but I gave the service 4 only because I felt bad for the woman who checked us in. She was in a tough situation and was trying.
