"Absolutely fantastic 2-day stay in the Royal Suite at Le Château de La Seigne. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly.
The château itself is stunning and beautifully restored, packed with character and cool features like vintage restored cars in the entrance garage, a working old-school jukebox near the hall and a characterful staircase up to the upper rooms.
The Royal Suite was huge, spotless, and had incredible views with multiple balconies (including one right at the top of the fort). Breakfast was great, with a massive spread of fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fruit, and cooked items.
Huge thanks to the family running it they’re genuinely welcoming, happy people, and the two younger women speak good English (even if they say they only speak a little). Couldn’t fault it, would stay again in a heartbeat."
