"The staff were so friendly and kind to our dog as well. We normally stop in the area on the way down to Portugal which we visit frequently. We will definitely be staying again. Good walks from the hotel along the river and very central location so access to facilities, restaurants etc. Free parking ..."

"Although the breakfasts were nice the meals in the restaurant in the evenings were not so good. On our second night we had braised cod. The fish was grey not filleted and hard. We left most of it as it tasted fowl."
