"Probably one of the best options for staying in the city proper. Hotel restaurant was fair to good but not excellent. Several outstanding restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi/uber ride. Staff very nice and helpful. Almost always had at least one person at front desk that spoke good English. Will definitely stay here again."

"My group of 3 friends and I had a wonderful Amazon experience recently at Cabana Nativa Paraiso where we stayed 2 nt/ 3 days. While our rooms (2 singles and 1 twin cabin) are basic - only 1 room has hot shower, the air con works great - a step up from my Peruvian Amazon lodge! Food is home cooked and delicious with fresh juices at breakfast and lunch. Activities give a good understanding of Amazon life and our guides Eddy and Marcelo are amazing!! Transfer to lodge from Manaus by boat/ VW van/ boat takes about 2.5- 3 hrs so very convenient."
