"Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about. "

"NO DOOR IN BATHROOM can be an issue. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival. We booked a room for three adults, and the photos on Expedia clearly showed a bathroom with a door. Instead, they tried to give us a room with no door to the shower or toilet, and the beds had a direct view into the shower. This was never mentioned anywhere. "Beautiful resort! Very friendly and helpful staff... Maria at the front desk, was especially polite and informative! With the gated property and multiple security officers on site, we felt 100% safe at all times. There was a sloth living in a tree on the beach right behind the property, and a kinkajou living in a tree by our balcony. We were able to see them on the daily... and the sounds of the various birds and howler monkeys were AMAZING!!! The pool area was beautiful, the dining...

Queríamos hacer late check out pero no lo permitieron indicando que no tenían habitaciones a pesar de que por esta app tenían varias opciones de habitaciones disponibles. No se puede tener alimentos, hielera o similar en el área de piscina. En resumido si solo deseas descansar es una opción. Sin embargo las estructuras tienen un serio tema de acústica y todo ruido se potencia y desde las 6am se escucha ruido del personal....
