! They have different options of rooms for every traveler, I traveled with friends and we chose AC rooms with private bathroom and they were very comfortable. They also offer tours which are usually better quality than if you get it in town (Isla Colon). Would go back to El Palmar."

"Arriving at night during rainfall, it was difficult to find the reception. We eventually did, but the receptionist wasn’t there at the moment. Once we found her she was very kind and helpful. Food at the restaurant is wonderful. Couldn’t figure out how to operate the TV. As part of the location, it’s very naturally beautiful; however, the fog and rain made it more difficult to enjoy. We would be willing to try staying here (during dry season)."

"This place and people was very nice. There was 3 things that they should fix, 1) Hot water takes a long time and is very weak. 2) the shower floor is very slippery. 3) the room was in the dark side, I personally don't like it was difficult for me to find things at night. The attention was excellent, One night my grandson got sick and they come over to help us with some extra towels and whatever we need. I like that!!

"We enjoyed our four night stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and we really liked having a balcony overlooking the docks. It was very useful having a kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful.

at the Buena Vista restaurant was delicious. We felt that the location meant it was quieter than other more central hotels might be. Drinking water is provided and a laundry service offered at a very reasonable cost. "

"Absolutely stunning property. Serene and a great place to disconnect. Staff and owner were friendly and supportive. La Loma did a nice job accommodating dietary issues. I'd highly recommend a stay.
