"My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The property was quaint, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for in a Carmel getaway. Our room was spotless, and we appreciated that all of the amenities and fixtures felt new and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive with cleaning services throughout our stay. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this inn to anyone visiting Carmel."

"The hotel is nicely located in town. The rooms are clean. However the hotel is very old which does make it charming but also very noisy! So if you want to rest don’t get a downstairs room. You will hear every squeak possible. And when I mentioned it to the staff they did not offer any alternative rooms upstairs for us. We were woken up to what sounded like a heard of above us both nights very late and early in the morning as well. Although everything else was very cute and clean. The bathroom we had also had only a pedestal sink and tiniest shower. Not a deal breaker. For anybody who even wants somewhere to set a blow dryer or put any makeup, there was absolutely no counter at all in the bathroom. Just fyi."

"I loved the view of the Bay. Room was clean. Staff, bar, and restaurant was great. Had issues with noise from unit above 1st night, 2nd night had plumbing issues tub gurgling, toilet bubbling up with foam. Tech came and said this has happened before coming from upstair unit."

"This place is very clean and convenient with comfortable bad. It's beautiful garden around units. The location is great too, only 1 mile driving to Carmel beach and 10 minutes driving to Monterey! The staff is very friendly and available."

"Rooms need a fan of some kind to circulate the air. Construction ongoing next door makes the area kind of hectic with work trucks. Steel plate on the street construction outside window made a loud bang every time a car drove over it. Thin ceilings that you can hear pretty well through."
