"The 1st room we were given was filthy, couch was covered with stains, bed skirt corner stained/wet (appeared to be where a dog relieved itself) blanket in a separate corner of the bed was stained and the toilet seat and bowl were visibly dirty. We were given another room immediately, the second was also dirty though not to the same extent. Before bed we opened the balcony door for fresh air air were overcome with the smell of marijuana which lingered long after closing the door. We checked our the follow day. The desk clerk apologized for the experience said that they were making moves to improve the hotel, new furniture has been ordered, and they were going to enforce the "no smoking" policy. Asked that we consider staying another time in 4-6 months. Also advised that since I had prepaid with a 3rd party a manager would need to handle the reimbursement. One of 3 managers was supposed to call and never did. I left similar information on their surveys. I attempted to obtain a refund from Expedia's website the day we checked out and noted that since it was beyond the window I would have to speak with the hotel. "

"Very nice room, excellent food for dinner and breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Room was mostly clean. The air filter was laying on top of the air conditioner. The hot water was iffy and the bed was high. Pillows were hard."

"The air unit in the room worked well but we were in a room on the 4th floor and the air unit/closet is right in the room. It was loud. You can hear every time it came on and turned off. For a light sleeper I did not sleep well with it doing that. Also the bed's were suppose to be Queen beds. Ours was not, They were full size beds but felt like twin so beware of the bed size. The room was clean. The paint was a little sloppy but it was a nice room. The house keeping seemed to be good. I only stayed one night so I did not get to experience any of the amenities so I can not tell you about that. I would stay again but I will need a bigger bed."

"I was exhausted and asked to check-in early, the staff put my room on priority cleaning, so I was able to check-in right after check-out cleaning began, even after a shift change and a different staff member at the desk. They took great care of me"

"My husband and I truly love the WaterWalk. Our only concern was the floors we vey filthy with hair and the couch was stained. Walking with socks we had to wash them several times. Outside of that, the staff and director/manager were very helpful. WaterWalk will definitely be our go to while visiting Charlotte. We love how the apts/rms has everything you need with living rm, bdrm, full kitchen with stove and washer/dryer. Outside of our concerns this place would be an A++. Also very convenient to CLT Airport."
