"The hotel was in a good location in the centre of Barnard Castle. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room including decaff which was appreciated. The breakfast choice was good and the items we chose were excellent."

"We would not have been able to access the property if it weren’t for the help of other guests. The owners failed to tell us the entrance code. In addition there was no prior warning that the en suite was outside our room (room 6)."
