Very nice boutique hotel. I had no problem with check-in and staff was respectful. The room was very clean and the fridge came stocked with water and local beer. The cleaning staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is located in an area that is walkable with many restaurants, convenience stores and a couple minutes walk to the beach.

The place was a short drive away from the beach. Parking was convenient. The space was clean and included, a bathroom, kitchen, fridge, tv and other amenities. I found it comfortable.

Had a great time when I was here. The staff was wonderful! especially Mileydis, the waitress in their restaurant, and Jonathan in the reception area. Instead than eating outside, I would suggest going to the GIO restaurant. The meal is much fresher, cheaper and better. Go to the hotel's beach if you haven't reserved one. Excellent security, privacy, and quietness. The DJ was a smash, and the food and beverages were both excellent. Jesus, the tour leader, deserves a shoutout. He made a fantastic host. This hotel won't let you down. Try it out.

I travel to Bocagrande, Cartagena at least once every year and usually stay at another hotel, but during this visit I decided to try Gio Hotel for a change. Unfortunately, my experience was mixed and ultimately disappointing. On the positive side, the location is excellent very convenient for getting around and the pricing is fair for the area. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the free pool table available for guests. Breakfast options were limited, but the food itself was tasty but small. I also want to recognize a few staff members who made a positive impression: a young man at the front desk, the bartender in the evening, and a shorter woman in blue they were all helpful and professional. However, there were several issues that impacted my stay. Cleanliness needs improvement, as I noticed stains on the sheets, and the towels appeared worn and in need of replacement. Additionally, the hotel seems to have too many rules, and much of the staff came across as unfriendly. This created an   uncomfortable atmosphere at times it felt less like a welcoming hotel and more like staying somewhere where you don’t feel at ease. While the hotel has potential due to its location and amenities, the inconsistencies in service and cleanliness would make me reconsider staying here again. Unfortunately, this will likely be my first and last visit. These are my personal observations, shared in the hope that management takes them into consideration to improve the overall.

The staff pretended to be nice. We were charged an additional fee for my husband who joined me after my 2nd night there. They reason being because of the breakfast included. We could have spent just $2 and got a pretty good breakfast elsewhere. The charges were equal to another hotel night stay. Ridiculous! The. Shower leaked water all the into the bedroom and the bathroom had a putrid odor as well.
