El personal de recepción es grosero

El personal de recepción es grosero y pedante, en vez de estar apoyándote te hace más difícil la estadía, me robaron odjetos personales, y les molesta que utilices el internet, su internet es muy malo, terrible lugar para pasar la noche

Hubo un problema con mi recepción y el seño encargado de recepción se portó muy déspota,le pedí la cuenta d wifi y se porto grosero que hasta que le cancelara le pedí ayuda para sacar el número de expedía y me negó cualquier ayuda

Actually stayed twice on 2 separate visits

The first time I stayed here, maybe the man at the desk was having a bad day. I had just arrived in Colombia and didn't have currency yet. He wasn't the most welcoming. I had to leave my stuff at the office and find an ATM to pay them. Would have been nice if I could have at least put my stuff in the room and maybe used the bathroom. Then he slightly charged me more than what I had booked through the Expedia mobile app. At the time I was so exhausted I just paid. Only stayed one night and the next morning I did show him my booking on the app and without question reimbursed me the over charge. The room itself was quite cramped because it was full...the 4 bed dorm upstairs. The AC and beds were comfortable. There is only a small safe to keep your passport and things like that. Def not big enough for even a tablet or small computer. The breakfast in the morning was really good, eggs in a wrap and fruit. For around $9.50/night it was a good deal. A few weeks later I was back in Cartagena with a friend and we needed a place just for the night. The reception staff was super nice this time. We didn't have a reservation so paid $10. Still a good price. We stayed in the 6 person dorm on the first floor this time. Bigger room for sure but still same kind of small safety box. The room was right off the kitchen/first floor hang out area so it could get noisy. We were up early to catch a flight so unfortunately didn't get breakfast. The location is great.

Location

Optimum location on Getsemani, within the walled city, walking distance from many attractions. Lots of good food in the area, did not experience any problems walking in the neighborhood at night. Hot water, clean sheets, air conditioning, breakfast included.
