"Hotel Alice was such a unique hotel. Location was great. Beach access walkover was right across the street. Just 2 or 3 miles from the North Carolina Aquarium. The hotel even offers free bikes to explore the island. Rooms were roomy and beautifully decorated. New fold out sofa for extra sleepers. Already planning my next visit."

"Can't expect excellent standards at a motel that must be at least 70 years old. But considering its age, it was very, very well worth the money. The hardwood floors appeared to be new, as was the mattress, the TV, the paint, and the shower. The window AC was noisy, but kept the room artic cold (had to clean the filter screen). I would stay here again."
