"Staying here is an experience. It is a great experience if that is what you're looking for. The location is great. The library is unique (I loved it). There is no staff around, giving you a strong sense of independence. It is a beautiful, old-timey hotel. However, the ceiling lights did not work, and you couldn't look out the windows: they were frosted and were covered with a heavy, dark curtain."

"The first night there I experienced clogged toilet poor water pressure and roaches. When I informed the manager of the issues she offered me a plunger. Very unprofessional service. To sum it all up the building needs upgrading and better management."

"I stay there about once a month and always feel safe. Property is old but has been updated. Rooms are clean and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Quiet for being right on the main road. Clean and comfortable! Owner lives on site. Lots of food within walking distance. "
