"This was simply an awful experience not only could we reach a live person on the phone prior to our trip, no return call then it got worse when we arrived no check in desk no one to greet us or answer any questions. "This property was going through extensive renovations at the time of our stay. The workers were pounding and sawing until around 9pm. There was debris everywhere making it not only unsafe, but very unsightly! Our room window looked out onto an ugly mountain of discarded mattresses. Our room had been renovated and was nice, but was very small. I think this hotel should not have been open for business during their renovation, and we definitely should not have been charged full price!"

My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential.
