"Unfortunately they mucked up our breakfast, specifically asked for halaal options and one to also exclude egg and they served 3 serves ham and cheese sandwich and one veg cheese sandwich "

"The room was a King size, huge with balcony overlooking the lagoon. Clean and quiet room 8003 ground floor level. Lots of food selection for breakfast buffet included in price and choice of one lunch and dinner main. Bathroom with shower and lots of amenities but need more hooks to hang towels. And suitcase storage racks in the room. 2 Umbrellas in the wardrobe for rain/sun. So glad it was a/c as it was so humid. Unfortunately such a long wait for check-in at 3pm when the plane arrived at 545am after a midnight flight from L.A. thankfully was able to change in a public bathroom and enjoy included lunch, a delightful unexpected welcome cold drink and beautiful shell necklace. ALL Staff outstanding and so helpful and polite even the general manager came and had a chat with us at dinner. Thanks to Thomas, Mr. T for taking our picture on the swing! I got sunburnt laying under an umbrella in the pool area, was enjoying the breeze, don't think they are UV and it would be great if some of the pool areas had a shade cloth covering. Food excellent at Goji and Fish Bar. The hotel is around an hours drive away from the airport."

"Thr location is very convenient and all the amenities are there. Free parking at the property and it is located right in front of the port marina. Very clean and we recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy Denarau."

"Friendly staffs"

"The staff at the restaurant were lovely. We were only there one night and in the older beach front Bure's. These are 25 yrs old appx so great for budget / back packers. Old mattress but everything else there that we needed and no TV. The newer bures/apartments may have more. Taxi was $45 Fiji from the Airport - we were told $90 by reception to return to Denarau Island. We got it for $80 direct with the driver. So ask and negotiate. Also I asked for clarification with reception and I don't think they spoke English or didnt understand. Pictures are legit - large bathroom, good sized bedroom for 3 of us. I knew we were on our way to Sofitel so this was a stop over only and I was attracted to the ocean side Bure."

"Staff were extremely friendly helpful and courteous. Pool was polluted for 2 days before it was closed for repairs. People swam in dirty unfiltered water with associated health risks. Room was functional with kitchen and small laundry combined with bathroom. Additional bed was pull down from fake cupboard. A little inconvenient but comfortable and clean. Overall a positive experience very close to Port Denarau marina."

"Great stay. Looking out from our own pool was so relaxing. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was a good variety and delicious. Snorkeling out the front of the resort was amazing. "

"My boyfriend & I stayed at Musket Cove for 2 nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in a beachfront bure. The house was spacious & the view was great. However, we had an issue with bugs in the room, which made the stay unpleasant. When we first arrived, we noticed a large amount of ants on the wall, bed, bar, & night tables. We alerted the front desk, & someone came in & cleaned the wall & changed the bed linens. However, when we returned to the room a short while later, the ants were back. We ended up moving the bed away from the wall, which seemed to help keep them off the bed. However, there were still many ants on the bar & tables. This made these areas unusable. We did alert the front desk but we were told it was part of island living. However, in speaking with other guests in the same accommodation type as us, we learned that they did not share this experience. The situation was never resolved & this was truly disappointing. Our stay included the meal plan. We enjoyed the pizza from the restaurant near the front desk & the seafood night buffet from the main restaurant. We found the other meals to be average. We spent a lot of time in the "quiet" pool & enjoyed the zen vibes there, as well as the activities offered at the resort. On this trip, we stayed at 5 different resorts in Fiji. At most of the resorts, we were impressed by the Fijian hospitality & friendliness. While we met some lovely people at Musket Cove, we found the warmth/friendliness to be hit or miss. "
