Recommend

Very nice small family owned hotel operated by very nice couple. Very calm and peaceful surroundings and a very good restaurant only 5 min away. We will use it again and recommend it. It also has a nice pool which we did not use this time.

Superb! In every way

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and guesthouses all over the world, at varying budgets, and can honestly say that Au Clair des Landes is the best. So much thought, care and love has gone into creating the perfect getaway. Sophie and Eric are the consummate hosts - welcoming you with homemade cake and aperitifs and immediately making you feel at home. I could go into detail, waxing lyrical but, in short, if you are looking for the most comfortable stay in tranquil surroundings (and the best breakfast in France) do not hesiate to book. We will be returning next year. Thank you, Sophie and Eric, for your hospitality.

Sophie et Eric nous ont accueilli chaleureusement. Ils sont aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes et a l'écoute. Maison magnifique , arborée et décorée avec goûts . Piscine et coin cosy .

Magnifique !

Séjour si agréable qu'il fût trop court. Un accueil chaleureux d'Eric et Sophie. Un couple aux petits soins pour ses clients. Les chambres sont très joliment décorées les matelas extrêmement confortables pour les dos fragiles. Un magnifique parc arboré, une piscine chauffée à 28 et un petit bar self ....que demander de plus si ce n'est de pouvoir y revenir très prochainement. Merci beaucoup à Sophie et Eric pour leur gentillesse.

Was für ein wunderschöner ruhiger Ort in der Natur! Liebevoll geführtes, wunderschönes Haus mit Liebe zum Detail. Sehr schöne Außenanlagen mit Kochmöglichkeiten und überdachter, freistehender Terrasse, mit Kühlschrank und sehr schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten neben dem tollen Pool. Sophie und Eric sind wunderbare und sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeber, die rundum an alles denken und sich sehr liebevoll um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das Frühstück ist großartig mit vielen kleinen wunderbaren Extras. Man ist in einer halben Stunde am Meer. Es gibt Essens- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Castets. Wir können diese Unterkunft einfach nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Havre de paix

Chambre très propre, avec une literie très confortable. Dépaysement complet au calme en pleine nature, avec une piscine de rêve. La propriété est très bien entretenue. Le petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux et des confitures faites maison est divin. Sans nul doute Sophie et Eric nous offrent un accueil merveilleux et sont aux petits soins. Un lieu exceptionnel pour ce reposer et visiter la région, nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Un grand merci
