Cost comfy cottage feel - best spot

We loved Rams Head, it was a charming spot offering a comfortable stay with friendly and inviting staff. Perfect for a family vacation in the mountains.

A lovely hotel with lots of personality. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We will stay here when we return to Red Mountain.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay with Martin at the Rams Head Inn. They are very dog friendly and the whole lodge and decor are wonderful. He made us a delicious breakfast extra early in the morning before we left for the Seven Summits bike trail. I will definitely stay here again!

The Inn was cosy and rustic set back in the woods of a large property. The owner was kind, warm and friendly. It was just what we were looking for, for a two night stay on Red Mountain.

Ramshead fun

Martin and his group are awesome and the property is so very quaint and interesting. Had a great time in the common room and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is not a high end resort but it was perfect for us, just down to earth good accommodations.

Our stay at the Ram's Head was comfortable, homey and unique. The breakfast was very European with strong coffee,fresh fruit,yogurt and even Nanaimo bars. The host Martin was friendly and welcoming. We loved the unique setting in the cedar forest Highly recommended!!

Location is convenient: short, easy walk to lifts. The woods surrounding the BnB are lovely. Common areas are friendly, welcoming and the atmosphere is "old style" ski lodge with lots of history. The proprietor is friendly. AND, room furnishings are sparse, old and mismatched. There were only a few drawers, shelves or hooks in our room. Hot tub was luke warm (sauna was nice!). Plenty of food for the continental breakfast-- it is not a hot breakfast and nothing homemade comes out of the kitchen. All that said, the Ramshead has charm.

We had such a good weekend at the Rams Head Inn, the hotel has an awesome warm and welcoming vibe throughout the whole place. Comfortable, clean rooms. We loved the lounge area downstairs and the generous and delicious breakfast provided. The sauna upstairs was amazing too! We will be back for sure.

The owner, Martin, was the best host I have ever had. Super friendly, easy going. The breakfast and coffee was good. He organized a bonfire at the back of the hotel. It was an awesome experience to stay there. Thank you Martin.

We received a warm welcome from the owner Martin & his cat. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and fabulously quirky decor which is throughout the inn! The common area/breakfast room is very cozy with comfortable furnishings and a wood fireplace. Continental self-serve breakfast had lots of choice & was satisfying. Location is great… easy 5 min walk to the base of Red Mountain

Bad Sleep but Friendly Staff

Friendly staff and cute setting but not ideal if you want a good sleep. Our bed had a huge dip in the middle and was really uncomfortable. Both our bedside table lamps didn't work either. The staff are great and the breakfast was good but when we asked for a different bed we were told they are all the same, so we had to leave. Wouldn't recommend staying here to our friends unless there are no other options.

Stayed at the Rams Head on a ski trip in Feb 6-9, 2021. One of the best experiences traveling in a long time, the most genuine and interesting couple that own/manage the property. Martin and Teresa...the hosts with the most! Felt like staying with family.........very cool property and vibe! Four minute walk through trees to get to lift! I will stay there again! Word of the wise if Martin challenges you to a ski race, you may want to decline! 😎 Completely Awesome!
