"This hotel met the the main criteria I have for being a good hotel. Fast WiFi, a hot powerful shower, and a good cooked breakfast. I also liked the decor of the bedroom, and how friendly the staff were. I'd happily stay here again."

"A well decorated, comfortable cottage in Hope village and we enjoyed our stay. We had some difficulties with communication initially though that appears down to Hotels.com as opposed to the host. I ended up making contact on an alternative rental platform and from then on the host was quick to respond to my messages. There is no welcome book in the cottage so there was no indication as how to leave the property or where to put recycling etc which would have been helpful. Having both a bath mat and hand soap in each bathroom would also have been useful. There was also no tea bags or instant coffee in the property. I had assumed this was the norm as I have never not had it supplied before, especially given it wasn’t a cheap listing, but that could be solved the following day when the shops were open. "
