"It was nice but very loud. Could hear the people above me walking all night. Any movement you are up. But great views."

"It was a quick walk to shops and great food options. Parking was available on site. The staff was great when I asked questions, they were very helpful. The room was beautiful! I slept so well. I had a great stay! I would stay there again. I also used the mini fridge and the kettle."

"We always love going to the Heritage. Great views and just far enough out of town to get away from the crowds but not that far to get back into town in 5 minutes. Staff were excellent and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. Beds are comfortable too. However rooms could be cleaned earlier and before the late afternoon. There was one day our room was completely forgotten, despite us telling them we were leaving our room in the morning. I think there may have been a shortage of cleaners this time....

"Had everything you need for a one nighter. Parking can be very limited. Reception not clearly sign posted outside. Room was incredibly clean. Bit noisy with someone's children run around in their room close by till 11pm but good room for very short term. No restaurant on-site just a small shop that had noodles and coffee."

Our grandchildren especially loved the family movie every evening and activities in the room. Staff were great! Appreciated the help getting taxis - again they were prompt, polite and clean. "Spur of the moment booking. Absolutely made the best choice! Location is a short and fairly easy walk to town. Slight hill but nothing too major. Check in was amazing, we were so well looked after by the lovely lady at reception, top notch service. Room was huge! Had every heating amenity you could think of! Beautiful view from the room. They have a spa that overlooks the lake and Remarkables that you can book at the front desk, ask for extra towels. Only slight downsides, sink in bathroom...

They held our bags and food leftovers for us, helped me figure out the hot drink vending machine, and were very sympathetic when I had an issue with the room lighting, even though they weren’t able to resolve it. "Awful experience – do not recommend. Our two-night stay was incredibly disappointing, especially for what we paid. When we first checked in, our room smelt like a public urinal. The smell was absolutely revolting and made the room almost unbearable to stay in. Staff did arrange for a plumber to inspect it, but the issue couldn’t be fixed, and because the hotel was fully booked we were told there was nothing more they could do that night. We had no choice but to spend our first night in a room...
