The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing and delicious with many choices to chose from. It was an easy walk to the historic center. "We stayed here the evening before we flew out from Florence Airport (with no traffic in the early morning it was about a 5-7 minute drive). The property feels upscale and the staff were friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a suite and arranged our taxi for the morning. The suite, including the bathroom, were spacious, clean, and modern. If you don't want to go into the heart of Florence (either a train or long walk), there is enough to do in the area for an afternoon. There's a lovely park across the street with an incredible building -- part of the Univ. of Florence."
