"We stayed here the evening before we flew out from Florence Airport (with no traffic in the early morning it was about a 5-7 minute drive). The property feels upscale and the staff were friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a suite and arranged our taxi for the morning. The suite, including the bathroom, were spacious, clean, and modern. If you don't want to go into the heart of Florence (either a train or long walk), there is enough to do in the area for an afternoon. There's a lovely park across the street with an incredible building -- part of the Univ. of Florence."

"We chose this hotel because it was very close to airport and we had an very early departure flight, Its a bit of a walk into downtown Florence area - safe enough. You could also use public transportation and get pretty close to the hotel. We did not utilize any amenities as we spent the majority of our time sight seeing"

"We were astounded that so many things were not available at this 5 star Hotel when we arrived to 5 days there, where the temperature (as forecasted) was between 28-34 degrees. 1. No Airconditioning in room or elsewhere (apparently a local restriction to do with pollution??? But I went to another hotel to investigate (The Social Hub hotel) where is was fully air conditioned. No mention on Hotels.com website about it. 2. Not allowed in Pool until 1st June (arguably when checking small print on hotels.com website it does say that) but if I put that as one of my search criteria and the the date I'm going, I expect a pool..., again we're told it's a local restriction but the pool was open at The Social Hub Hotel..??? Other problems were, no food available on Sunday evening, had to get reception order us a delivery Pizza, Spa wasn't open and the bareness of it looked like it hadn't been for a while. We were offered a bottle of Prosecco in apology for no pool and on the designated terrace we had to use to sunbath on the Friday. We then decided to drive to the beach an hour or so away for the next 2 days as the terrace was either full shade early in the day or full fun with no shade later in the day. When we thought we'd give the terrace another go on the Monday all our towels, Prosecco bottle and glasses were still there from the Friday, no one had even cleared them up!!! The manager and staff were apologetic and I blame the OWNERS and Hotels.com for bad info and policies."

"Convenient, very close to airport. Relatively clean. We had two containers of hair- conditioner but no shampoo. TV controller missing, had to request to be delivered. Breakfast charged for 28 € is not cheap , but the meat was packaged american turkey slices and ham, don't smell fresh. There was supposed to be egg made to order, but doesn't look prepared for this."

"Old & tired. Hot & humid room with poor AC & age frosted wet windows. Graffiti in tiny hot elevators & broken signage. Crumbling parking lot in the middle of a truck park. /petrol stop. Super friendly staff who did not deliver on promises (early morning take-away breakfast). A relic from the 60’s with a cheap makeover. Reminded me of hotels I’ve stayed in 3rd world countries. The only redeeming factors are it’s close to FLR and it is as cheap. It appears to be surviving on overnighting cheap bus tourists. Will not return."

"My mom and I stayed here two nights and it was a great experience. There is a lot of people speaking english here that were able to help us get transportation. There is a bus stop right outside the stay. It is 10-15 minutes from the city center and the FLR airport. It was a very modern stay with fun restaurants and shops near by."
