"Never stayed there. After 3 days awake in airports due to weather canceled flights, I Googled “Affordable Hotel with breakfast and fitness room in Jacksonville, North Carolina.” Then Expedia populated with “Best Western Jacksonville Inn” and I booked a room for 2 nights. Exhausted, I then drove to Jacksonville, North Carolina only to learn Expedia’s advertising left out “Illinois,” which meant my booked location was a 15 hour drive away. The booked property pointed to Expedia and Expedia pointed to the property and I am simply the loser who will NEVER, EVER use Expedia EVER again. Neither would you or the folks at Expedia who place a higher value on rejecting my refund application than keeping me as a customer. Rules smules. You AND Expedia’s brass would want their money back."

"Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Told me about local places to and even remember my name when I went down to get another pillow. Room was clean and spacious. The only possible negative is you hear the trains going by but for me that was just added ambiance."

"The staff was great. We were worried staying at a pet-friendly hotel, but the property and our room looked and smelled fresh and clean. My only complaint is that the beds were too firm for my taste. "

"I will not be staying at this property again and I will 100% be back in this area. My room smelt of animal urine. My comforter had a large yellow stain on it that had a remnant urine smell. I switched it out for a different blanket. Luckily running the air conditioning a little helped to cycle the urine smell out of the room. "
