"I have stayed at two of the three hotels in Jackson, Ohio, and this is the best of the two. Overall, it's not a bad stay. The front desk ladies are super nice and helpful. They seemed to have updated the rooms recently. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. My room did not have a fridge, which was a little frustrating, but I did not mention it to the staff. So, if that is important to you, call ahead and make sure you get a room with a fridge. My friends in a different room had one. The bathrooms are very small but clean. The breakfast options were all carbs, including waffles, muffins, cereal, and donuts. It was probably one of the worst hotel breakfast layouts I've seen. I would have liked to see at least one protein option that most hotels have like eggs or yogurt, but you can't complain too much about a free breakfast. They are VERY strict about their pool rules. I was told I couldn't even have a water tumbler in there, even though I wasn't swimming or going near the pool. It was a little ridiculous that I couldn't have water while watching my kids swim for hours. This seems to be the owner's strict rule. I was also fussed at for putting trash into a trash can that had a trash bag in it because, apparently, that trash can was for dirty towels. Anyway, the hotel is decent, and I'll stay there again when I visit family, but there are probably better hotels down the highway if you don't have to stay in Jackson."
"The hotel has plumbing issues, Drains dont work, the plumber was working on something the first 2 hrs I was there the water was shut off.
Other areas of the hotel under construction total mess. No attempt to clean anything up.
The stairs to the second floor was the construction sulpy room. That was the only access to my floor on the secon floor.
The warmer on the food for breakfast must not have worked because the eggs and sausage were cold."
"Overall a good stay for a night would not want to stay for an extended time. No soap or shampoo in the dispensers in the shower they were completely empty and only one small bar of soap to use that was on the bathroom sink."
