"A wonderful experience "

"The property was nice and clean. The 1-bedroom suite was spacious. Staff was really friendly. When we visit our son, we plan to return and stay at this property again. "

"Room was clean and staff was great. I just wasn't comfortable with the bed. Didn't care fore the foam pad on top of the mattress."

"Was clean friendly helpful staff. Only disappointment was breakfast. Ran out of coffee each day. Ran out of hot food and would take 5 to 10 minutes to replace. Not extremely tasty food either."

"I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible"

"Nice motel with easy access off I35. We traveled with 2 dogs and motel was very accommodating. Has large area outdoors for dogs plus a fenced in dog park is located right across road. Room was very spacious and breakfast included all the usuals. Overall very nice!"

"That has been one the best that we have stayed in Grinnell. We are usually there for the MidWest Conference. We have stayed at others that show sign that they are not cared for but they the open them at conferences times. "

"Bathroom door swings into the open. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Light switch doesn’t operate a darn thing. Where is the thermostat? Oh! Behind the door. Friendly staff. Cold beer on tap. Next to a DQ, walking distance. Parking is free and so are the smiles! "

"The hotel offered great value for the price, but there’s room to improve its overall appeal: the beds were old and uncomfortable, which affected sleep. The lobby was small though kept clean; the breakfast was modest in size but clean, leaving guests with a straightforward start to the day. Additionally, the hallways had an unpleasant smell, which detracted from the overall first impression and highlights a need for improved odor control and ventilation throughout the property."
