"1) When we arrived around 3:05 pm I used the contactless instructions per our message sent. I understood they were going to text us a message on the day before but we never received a text. 2) The front door security panel was broken so anyone could walk in. Since you don't have anyone at the front desk - this left the front lobby and the hallways exposed to anyone walking in. 3) I used the codes to open our door to the room assigned to us and someone else stuff was still there - I have pictures. 4) Per the instructions on our message - I sent the a text to the first contact number - no response. I sent another text to the second contact number. No response. I sent several messages. 5) 45 minutes later, I flagged down the maid and she said that the person never checked out so she told she would give me another room. NOTE: no one managing this building worked through this with me just a maid-its not her job. No I am sorry, no culpability, no response from the "customer service" 6) Other customers who checked in at the same time we did - rooms were not ready to be occupied, One couple found 2 black hairs on their bed - did the sheets even get changed? One couple who checked in at the same time said they had used this facility over the last five years will not be returning next year. She raved about how it use to be. We had to help approximately several couples figure out how to check in. 7) They made a quadriplegic individual leave their expense chair in the lobby."

"From the second I arrived at Arrowwood Luxury Resort in Alexandria, Minnesota, the service was absolutely first-class. I was welcomed by the concierge with a fresh margarita and cookies, and immediately felt like a valued guest. The bellman, George, was unbelievable. He took care of all my luggage with professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. To my surprise, I was upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and it was nothing short of stunning. The suite was over 2,000 square feet with incredible floor-to-ceiling views of the forest, the lake, beautiful white-tailed deer outside, and families enjoying the beach. It was one of the most peaceful and beautiful views I have ever experienced. When I entered the room, there were fresh chocolates, bottles of Pellegrino, and 12 beautiful white roses with a note thanking me for being a valued guest. The room itself was immaculate, with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, a calming eucalyptus and vanilla scent, and every detail perfectly prepared. The valet, doorman, concierge, butler, George, and Cindy at the front desk all delivered world-class service. I cannot thank them enough for making the stay feel so special. Room service was equally impressive. I ordered the 60-ounce tomahawk ribeye, and it was cooked beautifully, paired perfectly with a nice wine and sweet potatoes. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and presented with care. Arrowwood Luxury Resort went above and beyond in every possible way. The hospitality, the upgrade,"

"Hard to remember a more poorly kept motel room in our 65 years of travel. 1. While turning on the sink water the handle came off in my hand with only hot water flowing. (Ever brush your teeth with hot water?) 2. Only 1 of the 2 lamps by the beds worked. 3. I tried to use the phone for help....it did not work. Turned out some one had pulled the plug. 4. Some time during the night the switch changing my hearing aids stopped working. Only things working well were the beds & the AC. Are not cleaning people supposed to check all things? We'll never go back?"
