"I've stayed here twice now as a one-night stop en route to my final destination and will stay here again. Although the rooms are showing their age, they have been kept up well. Overall, I've gotten what I wanted, that is a clean bed and a clean bath. Bonus points for a strong wi-fi."

"It's an affordable stop, we have stayed before and knew what to expect. Rooms in the main casino are loud. Bar and dining are decent for a hotel like this. The bar staff were great. Casino was empty for a Saturday night. I feel like it was the staff or a couple casino players making the majority of the noise all night."

"Very reasonably priced motel. Rooms were smaller but had everything we needed. Whole property was kept really nice and felt very homey. Nice table & chairs outside to sit and enjoy the evening. Vera, the owner of the property was wonderful and looked after all your needs. If we were ever back in Ely, Nevada we’d definitely staff here again!"

"Dirty room, no soap to wash hands, only a half used toilet paper, the rug in that room was so old and dirty. Only because we were on the road for most of that day we stood there. Over priced by Expedia.com"

"Room was clean. This is a historic property with a casino, bar and restaurant. Lots of history, antiques and 1800’s charm. It’s a real period piece! Not elegant but a real gold rush feel. Very comfortable. Affordable."

"Bad way to start a stay! Arrived at the hotel for check-in and found 3 people standing around a Kiosk trying to figure out how to use it to check-in (no one in the office tor assistance) One lady had already tried 3 different keys provide by the Kiosk that would not work. Now it was our turn which took forever to try to figure out how to make the kiosk work. We started try to use it talking with one person and after no success we had another person show up on the screen to try and help us...

"If I could write a zero review I would. We had a horrible experience. Stayed for the night on our way to Arizona. Got up at 4 AM to take a shower and the shower did not work whatsoever so our family of four was not able take a shower. Bedding was dirty still. Front desk was rude and made no accommodation or even offer a discount. "

"Total dive! The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in 50 years if travels. The room smelled awful, very loud street noise all night, furniture broken, carpet stained, plumbing fixtures broken, dust & hair on bathroom floor, front desk has hand written sign ‘no breakfast’ taped on desk, despite advertising they have breakfast on-line. Our party had reserved 3 rooms. If we could have gotten 3 rooms at any other hotel, we would not have stayed. We should have known when we checked in & the clerk...
