"The rooms are clean but outdated. the in-room coffee and coffee at the office is terrible so plan something else if you're a coffee drinker. be ready for lots of stairs everywhere you go i.e.: from parking to your room, to the beach, to the restaurant and to the office, lots of stairs. the surrounding area is awesome. we saw seals on the beach, whales and really cool tide pools. We will stay again but will definitely bring my own coffee... 10 minutes to Depot bay and 12 minutes to Newport."

"Amazing, amazing, amazing view! Checked in a couple of hours before sunset. Enough time to walk to the beach and touch the sand and ocean. Then enjoyed the sun finally setting from our balcony with a drink in hand of course. So I’d definitely recommend staying here."

"The beds were clean, the floor was dirty. The carpets had toe nails all over. It was clear they skipped vacuuming. The room was musty smelling. Ill skip this place and just pay more somewhere else."

"We had an ocean view with an incredible view of the lighthouse. Very spacious, clean, nice decor and modern. Staff were helpful and mostly friendly, except the bartender who was reluctant to put in our food order as they were “closing in 10 min.” The food was nice but not outstanding. The view, the room and the hotel facilities will definitely make me return."

"It was a nice spacious room with a nice bed. Staff was friendly. There was a communication mixup, and our room didn’t get cleaned, as promised. But they jumped through hoops and got it done once discovered. The breakfast was OK, but not managed very well. Things ran out quickly, and took awhile to refill. The room above us was noisy, and we could hear the stomping of kids above. All in all, it was a nice stay."
