"This hotel was by far one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The furniture seems new; the draperies were fashionable; the flooring new; the vanity and lighting were beautifully modern. Nice ceiling fan. Safe parking. I liked the potted flowers at the entrance. Locals were digging for clams in the early morning a short walk away. I will stay here again."

"Beautiful setting, fun amenities like kayaks and a bench swing. Room was well appointed with everything you would need, even a 2 burner cooktop. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend."

"It was a nice spacious room with a nice bed. Staff was friendly. There was a communication mixup, and our room didn’t get cleaned, as promised. But they jumped through hoops and got it done once discovered. The breakfast was OK, but not managed very well. Things ran out quickly, and took awhile to refill. The room above us was noisy, and we could hear the stomping of kids above. All in all, it was a nice stay."

"There were a lot of pros and a couple of cons about this property. The location on the Oregon coast is fantastic; the access to Devils Punchbowl and tide pooling top notch. The steep hill and winding levels (think terraces) are unique but could be a deterrent for people who have trouble walking or are not in shape! The porter in his golf cart is always readily available to pick you up anywhere in the property (and comes quickly) but it requires a phone call to the front desk (so make sure you...

"Really nice hotel in a great location. The rooms were spacious and I loved having a suite. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an upstairs suite and it was perfect- it was surrounded by trees with a few of the river in the distance. I could keep the windows open and still maintain privacy while being blissfully quiet outside. I stayed for 5 days and it was the perfect home base for my trip. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Florence."
